Rose
Care
-
Unpack
your Roses immediately; keep them cool.
- Fill your Floral Vase halfway with cold water,(
please cut stems as directed below before placing your roses in
this vase water) then add one packet of floral food (2 packets
included in the box with your order).
- Remove all leaves that would remain underwater,
from the bottom 6 to 9 inches of the stems.
- Leave the thorns on the stems for maximum vase
life.
- Place the stems in a sink or bowl and under
water with sharp scissors cut diagonally about half
an inch of the end. This will help your Roses absorb
the fresh water and floral food better.
- As you place the roses in the vase, remove any
discolored outer petals, (which we leave on to
protect the roses during transportation) then place
vase out of direct sunlight and away from heat and
draft
- Replenish water as needed, keep vase filled
almost to the top
- For extended life, after 3-4 days, remove roses
to another basin of water, re-cut stems, peel off
any remaining leaves or petals that are discolored,
and wash out your vase well, refill with fresh water
and add the second packet of floral food; then put
your roses back into the vase
